Unique Mesa area when first entering the east side of the park right after the entrance station. Busy area but ample parking. Signs say bighorn sheep area but didn’t see any when we passed by.Full review by shenslee

You really can’t miss it, just pull on the side of the road, take a picture and done. It was on our way, but if it now, really no reason to make a special tripFull review by yasemin2k

Checkerboard Mesa – wow! Drove by and had to stop. The way the rocks are patterned is like nature showing off. A quick stop for a big dose of natural wonder!Full review by 433selenaf
