Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee moved forward Thursday with the nomination of Emil Bove, President Trump's pick for the US Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, despite a dramatic protest by Democrats.

Two retired members of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit are among more than 75 former federal and state judges opposing Emil Bove’s nomination to that court just as he’s secured support from a key Republican senator toward confirmation.

The U.S. Senate approved the judicial nominations of Emil Bove and Jeannine Pirro. Democrats walked out of the meeting when they weren't allowed to speak.
