Ending speculation on the swearing-in of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Maharashtra, the party’s state unit on Saturday said the oath-taking would be held on December 5 in Mumbai in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ajit Pawar said that the other Mahayuti allies, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) faction led by himself, will get the Deputy Chief Minister posts.
