Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol said the coffee giant will require many of its employees to work out of office for a minimum four days a week, from the current three, as part of a new policy expected to kick in later this year.

CEO Brian Niccol is cracking down on work from home, ordering Starbucks employees to return to the office four days a week or take a buyout.

Starbucks is rolling back its work-from-home mandate even further, asking senior leadership employees to be in the office four times per week. The beverage retail company, which had been operating under a three-day in-office work week, expects this new policy to be implemented during its next fiscal year, scheduled to begin in October.
