HYDERABAD: Parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were jolted by an earthquake of 5.3 magnitude on the Richter Scale on Wednesday morning.

An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit Mulugu in Telangana on December 4 early morning, the National Center for Seismology said. The quake struck at 7.27 am. The tremors were reported at several places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including Hyderabad.

Tremors were felt in Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday after a strong earthquake of 5.3 magnitude originated in Mulugu in the morning though no major damage to either life or property was reported.
