Memphis native Jeremy Beloate has to wait a little longer to see if he advances on Season 26 of NBC’s “The Voice.” Part of Snoop Dogg's team, the Bluff City-born aspiring Broadway performer took the stage Monday night with seven other semifinalists for the singing competition's Live Shows.

Jeremy Beloate, a contestant on the 26th season of "The Voice," is now one of eight singers left on this season and will advance to the semi-finals on Monday. The airing will be entirely live and advancements depend on the public's votes.

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Northeast Ohio will be well represented next week during the finale of The Voice as Jeremy Beloate, a 2021 graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, has advanced to the final round of the NBC competition.

During his The Voice Blind Audition, Jeremy Beloate moved the Coaches and audience with his rendition of Giveon's "Heartbreak Anniversary," which he sang in honor of his two late brothers and father.

"We don't expect men to be vulnerable like that," Beloate tells Out. "Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, they have their hearts on their sleeves."
