Mufasa star Aaron Pierre and Friday Night Lights vet Kyle Chandler officially hit the road as the Green Lanterns known as John Stewart and Hal Jordan, as seen in HBO's first look at the upcoming Lanterns series.

HBO ‘s Lanterns has started production and released a first look at its two stars in character — though not in Green Lantern Corps regalia.

James Gunn has shared the first look photo of Lanterns, the DC Studios series starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre. The HBO series comes from Ozark’s Chris Mundy, Watchmen‘s Damon Lindelof, and comic book writer Tom King.
