Search for missing hiker in NY on hold due to safety concerns
NEWCOMB, N.Y. (WCAX) - The search for a missing hiker in New York’s Adirondacks has been put on hold due to safety concerns. Leo DuFour, 22, of Quebec, set off on the Allen Mountain Trailhead in Newcomb on Nov. 29 and hasn’t been seen since. Earlier this week, authorities said the search for DuFour had become a recovery mission.
