As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to contract, a previously-announced Black Panther spin-off streaming series has now been cancelled.

A spinoff of the hit Marvel movie was planned to arrive on the streamer, focusing on the character of Okoye (portrayed by Danai Gurira in the feature). Okoye was a General of Wakanda’s forces appearing in 2018’s Black Panther, the sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the Avengers movies Infinity War and Endgame.
