Emergency crews have found the body of a hiker who went missing in the Glass House Mountains last weekend. The 20-year-old Mountain Creek man was last seen at about 1pm on Sunday, when he was about to climb Mount Beerwah. Police say his body was found on Thursday afternoon on the north-west face of the mountain.

The New York Department of Environmental Conservation has reduced its search for Leo DuFour, a 22-year-old from Vaudreuil, Quebec, to a “limited continuous” operation due to extreme conditions and a lack of new leads. DuFour went missing after setting out to hike Allen Mountain in Essex County on Nov. 29.
