Wawa is bringing an early Christmas present to fans of the popular chain as it opens its first Pensacola store later this month.

Wawa has scheduled the grand opening of its first Pensacola store. According to a news release from Wawa, the grand opening is set for Dec. 19 at 8 a.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 8:30 at 8840 Boesch Lane.

Wawa has announced a grant opening date for their first location in Escambia County. The new WaWa store at Ransley Station on Pine Forest Road just north of I-10w ill open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 19 with a ribbon cutting to follow at 8:30 a.m.

As the chain continues their efforts to expand into the panhandle, Pensacola residents could see another Wawa site start construction soon.
