A BOMB blast hit a shuttle train carrying security personnel and their families in the southwestern province of Balochistan, officials said, in the latest major attack claimed by separatists.

A suicide vehicle bomb struck a passenger train in Quetta, killing at least 24 people and injuring dozens, including women and children. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility, stating the attack targeted security personnel and their families.

At least 14 people, including three Frontier Corps personnel, were killed and 20 injured after a vehicle-borne suicide bombing hit a shuttle train near Chaman Phatak in Quetta. Rescue and investigations continue.
