ATLANTA - A 70-year-old man was killed in an Atlanta shooting Saturday afternoon. Atlanta police found the victim in the commercial area of the 2100 block of Metropolitan Parkway SW at 6:40 p.m. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man overnight. Police say they responded to a person shot call at 1162 Booker Avenue in southwest Atlanta. When they arrived on scene, officers found a 52-year-old man who had been shot.

Officers were responding to a dispute inside a residence, and that’s when the suspect opened fire, according to authorities.
