A good Samaritan who went outside to grab a delivery found two infant girls who were dumped in a ditch near his Indiana home after the car they were in was stolen.

INDIANAPOLIS — A man who left his home to get a package found two baby girls strapped in their car seats sitting in a ditch. The temperatures were below freezing at the time when Robert Deane found them near his Indianapolis home, the Indy Star reported.

The girls were found in their car seats left out in the below-freezing temperatures on the southeast side of Indianapolis, nearly 4 miles from where the vehicle they were inside was reported stolen.

A man found 4-month-old and 5-month-old baby girls in a ditch outside his home after they were kidnapped in a vehicle earlier in the day.

The infants were kidnapped inside a stolen vehicle and left outside in -2C temperatures in Indiana, US, as a passer-by found them and rushed to help the children
