A man in San Antonio was arrested for allegedly threatening Donald Trump on Facebook, facing federal charges and a potential five-year sentence per charge.

A San Antonio man was arrested the night before President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania visited Texas over threats he allegedly made on Facebook. The Department of Justice announced the 52-year-old's arrest on Friday, July 11.

Robert Herrera, 52, was accused of making online threats to the president during his visit to Texas on Friday. In one post on Facebook authorities said Herrera posted a picture of an assault rifle, along with a threat to 'come after' the president.
