Earlier, reports surfaced that Ranbir Kapoor ditched alcohol and meat for playing Lord Ram's role in Nitesh Tiwari's cinematic adaptation of the Indian Epic. Even reports surfaced that Sai Pallavi also gave up non-vegetarian food for the film as she will be essaying Devi Sita's role.
