The Genshin Impact patch 4.2 release date is drawing closer as we head into November, which is when HoYoverse has confirmed the latest patch for the ever-growing gacha game.

The Genshin Impact 4.2 livestream was originally scheduled to take place at 1pm BST on Friday 27 October 2023. However, hours before it was due to start HoYoverse announced it had been postponed.

Hoyoverse has revealed every new Nod-krai character joining the game in the Genshin Impact 6.x versions in the coming months.

Genshin 4.2 brings Furina, a new area, new weapons, and plenty of great events to get stuck into. Pre-load is live for iOS, Andriod, and PC ahead of the official release on Wednesday.
