Save the icon in .ico or .png format. Be sure to save your icon in one of these formats to ensure compatibility with most browsers, including Google Chrome and Firefox. Upload the icon to your server.

Hover your mouse cursor over the icon you want to remove. Holding down the left mouse button, drag the icon out of the menu bar and onto the desktop. Let go of the left mouse button.
