Brindavan Gardens is unarguably one of the most famous tourist places in the state. Every day, thousands of tourists flock the place while the musical fountains are an added attraction.

The Brindavan Gardens on the downstream of Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) is known for its symmetrical design. It has innumerable fountains and attracts at least 3 lakh tourists, every month.

Citing more tourists visiting Brindavan Gardens during Dasara, the government restarted boating by erecting a fence at the boating pond 50 metres away from the dam structure.

But this was stopped four years ago due to security reasons,” said a shop owner near Brindavan Gardens. Since then, the garden and the boat ride have been the main attractions.

But no such work was carried out in Brindavan Street. The stretch got battered following the north-east monsoon in 2017. However the road has not been repaired till now, say residents.
