Cape May County Park & Zoo opened in 1978 with just a few animals, but grew and gained national renown in 2010, with a successful snow leopard breeding program that produced multiple cubs.

The Cape May County Zoo AAZK Chapter is inviting animal lovers to explore the zoo after hours during their “Night Out with the Critters 2025” event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 20.
