TRAVERSE CITY — The Traverse City State Park has closed down for renovations starting today. The $8.5 million renovation project will see improved visitor access, camping amenities and facilities.

The Traverse City state park campground will be closed starting July 6th next year and will remain so through the 2026 camping season.
