CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Color Run is scheduled for MLB All-Star Week in downtown Cleveland. Major League Baseball and The Color Run will present the 5K on Sunday, July 7.

There's still time to register for the race. Runners can pick up their participation kits for free at the check-in party between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Waterfront Park.

The Color Run combines a traditional 5K run with color stations throughout the race where colored powder was thrown at the runners, leaving them covered in pink, yellow, red, green and blue.

Color Run was started by a triathlete named Travis Snyder in January 2012, and according to organizers grew to more than 50 events and 600,000 participants around the country last year.

The Color Run is the largest 5K event series in the world. It brought its 2016 tour theme, "The Color Run Tropicolor™ World Tour" to South Bend on Saturday, October 8. Just under 3,000 people ...

And there's a post-run party to boot, which promises bands, food, more color, and all kinds of other fun festivities. Personally, we think this is one of the coolest events, like, ever.
