Congressional Republicans are hoping to send their sweeping tax and spending cuts package, otherwise known as the “big, beautiful bill,” to President Donald Trump’s desk by July 4. The House and Senate have each narrowly passed their own versions of the bill.

The House is set to vote on Trump’s budget bill, which slashes Medicaid, ACA, and SNAP, risking aid for millions across the country.

To meet the president’s Friday deadline, the speaker will have to corral his party into accepting a bill several have criticized.
