Microsoft appears to be working on new 3D icons for its Office suite. Reddit users have discovered the new icons in an email survey from Microsoft, reports Windows Central .

The new icon is identical to the Copilot one, instead of the blue and purple Microsoft 365 icon that’s used right now. Microsoft has been struggling with its Copilot branding recently.

The proposed new icons have colour gradients, adding more depth to the layers, confirming that 3D is very much back. This makes them feel more fun perhaps – less dull and serious Microsoft Office.
