Las Vegas police said Jesus Osuna-Lopez, 23, is awaiting extradition to Southern Nevada to face a murder charge in the killing of Christopher Pineda, 31.

The operation, aimed at intercepting the flow of deadly drugs, led to the arrest of Jesus Osuna-Garcia, 29, and Ludy Lopez-Piedra, 35, after their vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.

Jesus Osuna-Lopez, 23, was arrested in Phoenix and is awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, police said. No details were released, including what counts Osuna-Lopez might face.

“We’re not from the same tribe but we are connected," Jesus Osuna said. Organizers told 12News they would not stay silent.
