About a month ago, I noticed the door latch on our 2018 Kenmore washing machine (bought from Sears) had broken. I’ll admit I’m not the handiest guy around, but I’m not completely inept either.

I was pleasantly surprised by Kenmore's $1,530 Elite 31633 top-load washing machine. $1,530 is a lot to spend on a washer, so I expected it to have a lot high-end features.
