Sept. 13, 2010 -- At the MTV 2010 Video Music Awards, it was Lady Gaga 's night, but once again, Kanye West and Taylor Swift almost stole the show.

In a 2009 VMA performance of "Paparazzi" that changed lives, Gaga delivered a bloody amazing spectacle, oozing fake blood from her two-piece. It gave theater kid, it gave camp, it gave drama.

Lady Gaga stayed in character the entire night as Calderone, including while accepting two VMAs and presenting Britney Spears with the Video Vanguard Award.
