Microsoft is bringing 3D emoji to Microsoft Teams. The new 3D emoji will appear in chat, channels, and reactions in meetings and are part of Microsoft’s Fluent design push.

Microsoft Teams' public preview now has Fluent emoji, otherwise known as the snazzy 3D ones. If you have an IT admin controlling your Teams operations, you'll need their help to get the new designs.

Microsoft used tools like Adobe Illustrator, Maxon’s Cinema 4D, Figma, Font Lab, and others to create its 3D emoji.
