Cam McCormick, a 27-year-old tight end prospect for the Miami Hurricanes, made waves during the team’s Pro Day, aiming to secure a spot in the NFL. After spending nine years in college football—due to multiple season-ending injuries and an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic—McCormick sought to prove his potential to professional scouts.

On Monday, hundreds of reporters, scouts, and players packed into the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility, with eyes on 20 Miami Hurricane athletes with hopes of playing football at the highest level.

“Arroyo has plenty of potential at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds,” Reid said. “His breakout 2024 campaign showed how he can put linebackers in a bind by beating them in man coverage, while also scoping out holes in zone coverage.”
