Removing the background on a picture in Microsoft Word is exceptionally easy. Word has a tool incorporated into the program that will essentially make your photo into a transparent PNG format.

I’ll be working in the header, but this technique protects both the header and the footer. I’m using Microsoft 365 on a Windows 10 64-bit system, but you can use earlier versions of Word.
