A state trooper was seriously injured when a semi-truck plowed into his patrol car on the side Interstate-90 – obliterating the cruiser and hurling the cop over a guardrail.

Walmart has agreed to pay a $16,000 fine for shipping realistic toy guns to New York in violation of state law.

Police issued more than 3,300 tickets for fraudulent "temp tags" as well as obstructed or otherwise illegal plates, state officials said.

The settlement comes a decade after Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers agreed to keep toy guns that resemble deadly weapons off their shelves in New York.

The New York law bans retailers from selling or shipping toy guns of certain colors — black, dark blue, silver or aluminum — that look like real weapons.
