CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) – Thousands of Appalachian Power (AEP) customers are without power in Cabell County Wednesday evening.

As of 9 p.m., over 9,700 people were reporting no Optimum service on the site, which monitors service outages. By 10:50 p.m., the number dropped to just over 1,400.
