Isaiah Jackson is coming off an Achilles injury of his own suffered on opening night and is a restricted free agent. James Wiseman, who was signed prior to last season, suffered an Achilles injury the same week and missed the entire season. He was traded to Toronto, then cut, but has been working out with the Pacers since.

The Indiana Pacers are expected to get busy on the trade market this offseason to bolster their depth and make the playoffs again.

However, there have been no further concrete reports about the future of superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. One of the biggest moves of the offseason came when the Bucks decided to sign former Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner.

The Pacers had a hole at the center position after Myles Turner signed with a division rival. They made a move to help fill that void.

Trade rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo were rampant after the Bucks were eliminated by Myles Turner and Pacers in the playoffs, but they have died down since then. If he is truly upset about the Damian Lillard news, will we see Giannis start to explore his options elsewhere?

NBA free agency is underway, and after a week, some notable names remain unsigned. That includes Jonathan Kuminga and Josh Giddey, who are both restricted free agents this summer.
