Here is Penn State's 2025 football schedule with updated start times and TV information. This will be updated as needed. Home games are listed in all CAPS and all times are Eastern (ET). Penn State's bye weeks are in weeks 4 (Sept. 20) and 9 (Oct. 25).

Penn State, led by interim coach Terry Smith, is hoping to use the bye week to rally and end the season on a high note. At 3-4 on the season, the Nittany Lions must win three of their five remaining games to reach bowl eligibility — a far cry from the team's preseason No. 3 ranking.

Allar, a three-year starter for PSU, suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the Lions' loss to Northwestern last month.

Following a 34-0 dismantling of Big Ten rival Wisconsin, Ohio State will enjoy a week off and return to the field next Saturday, Nov. 1, when it hosts The Penn State Nittany Lions. That matchup no longer has the buildup of what it was at the beginning of the season because of Penn State's struggles, but the two always seem to play a close game.

Franklin was officially announced as the Hokies' new head coach on Nov. 17, and he had his introductory press conference in Blacksburg, Virginia, on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Smith had a chance to share his thoughts Wednesday night after practice.

Penn State closes out the home portion of its 2025 schedule and plays the penultimate game of the regular season on Saturday when Nebraska comes to Beaver Stadium. Kickoff is in primetime at 7:30 p.m.
