If you’re a high school football fan, you know the Permian Panthers in Odessa, TX. But Permian is far more than just a setting of one of the most famous sports stories in book and film history.

Somehow, Mojo football means a little bit less than it did 10 years ago. The moment of critical mass came last season, when Odessa High School beat Permian for the first time in 33 years.

Every year, Permian High School’s Panther Paws dance team contributes to a cause around Christmas time. This year, the recipient is Communities in Schools on campus.
