A utility transformer pole and trees were downed near 2nd and Main streets in Hobart during Thursday night's storms. As of Friday morning, NIPSCO said around 57,000 customers were still without power.

Around 450 customers experienced power outages in the Belle area of Kanawha County after a tree came down, according to Belle Fire Chief David Fletcher and officials with Appalachian Power.
