People clean up at the River Ranch RV Resort in New Braunfels on Oct. 14, 2021 after heavy rains from Tropical Storm Pamela caused the Guadalupe River to flood.

The River Ranch RV Resort, located near TX-46 at I-35, saw the brunt of the flooding. RVs knocked into each other and became damaged along the Guadalupe River bank.

Long was one of several people who spent the day cleaning up damage at the River Ranch RV resort in New Braunfels. “There was a trailer down there by the red one,” he said.

Although they did not oppose the proposal, residents in the adjacent River Ranch RV Resort did pose questions about how noise and traffic problems that have occurred at past events would be improved.
