Katie Matzke, Chief Programs Officer for the Special Forces Foundation, joined FOX21 Morning News on Friday, May 2, to talk about the event and how it will be a fun time for the whole family.

The foundation supports U.S. Army Special Forces, also known as "Green Berets," and their families.

The foundation recommends that a child development center be built to accommodate 500 children; at last count, there were 436 children in the 7th Special Forces Group who were age 4 or younger.

The Honor Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates a nationally recognized career transition institute for the U.S. Special Operations Forces communities in the military.

Each participating bar featured a custom hole and drink specials for participants. The event, which drew 100 participants, was organized as a fundraiser for the Special Forces Foundation.
