Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Musical is back by popular demand at Orlando Family Stage, this time featuring a vibrant, all-youth cast as part of the theatre’s acclaimed Youth Academy.

In Hot Mess, book 19 of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series from #1 international bestselling author Jeff Kinney, Greg Heffley is in for a particularly awkward summer with his whole family.

It’s a big year for Kinney and Abrams Books, which publishes “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” Not only is book 20 on the horizon, but they’re also approaching 300 million copies sold.

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” has sold more than 275 million copies, according to its publisher, with book number 17 in the series, “ Diper Överlöde,” releasing Oct. 25.
