This spring, FUNWHOLE has added another puzzle to the building bricks world of steampunk. It is being hailed as its most ambitious creation yet: the Steampunk Watch Tower.

Steampunk conjures up images of 19th-century top hats, corsets, petticoats, and aviator goggles, but its followers say underneath the surface it's so much more.

This weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July, Blists Hill Victorian Town is hosting its annual Steampunk festival in partnership with the Ministry of Steampunk.

There are people dressed in steampunk attire, with goggles and Victorian clothing, walking on the sidewalks. The overall atmosphere is that of a retro-futuristic city from an alternate history ...

That game was not Clair Obscur. When Svedberg-Yen met Broche, the game designer was originally at work on We Lost, a much smaller, steampunk game set in Victorian England.

The event is all about Victorian fantasy and science fiction. People dress up in their favorite Victorian fantasy looks with corsets skirts and different kinds of hats.

Becraft described Steampunk as "Victorian-inspired science fiction". "The atmosphere is truly unique, from the Steampunk perspective. There's a lot of fun people that come to this event," he said.

Hundreds of Steampunk fans are expected to take to the cobbled streets of Blists Hill Victorian Town this weekend for a special event.
