WESTERN S.D. AND NORTHEASTERN W.Y. — Winds will be no joke today and could cause potentially damaging impacts across the region, including power outages, tree and property damage, vehicle instability, flying objects, reduced visibility, and even knocking people off balance if you’re outdoors.

Lake-effect snow will develop this evening, particularly in Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania, with accumulations of three to five inches expected and snowfall rates up to one inch per hour. Cleveland and areas eastward could see snowfall rates approaching 0.75 inches per hour late this evening.
