HINGHAM — The sprawling forest that makes up Wompatuck State Park is filled with campsites, bicycle paths and running trails, with ample room for horseback riding, snowmobiling and dog sledding.

Volunteers are holding a “Discovery Day” on May 20 to show off the state park of 3,500 acres with some 50 miles of biking and hiking trails and a military history.

We welcome you to join us on a guided recreational hike along the Healthy Heart Trail at Wompatuck State Park. The forested trail is about 1.5 miles long. Meet at the Visitor Center.
