This new pump has a built-in sensor that will measure the vacuum and deliver the necessary amount only when needed. The pump turns on and off on its own, which means longer life and better efficiency.

With our baseline confirmed, we added the vacuum pump and re-ran the tests. The Star vacuum pump created 15 inches of vacuum in the crankcase and the power increased from 741 to 760 hp.
