Reports: Oklahoma State to hire former Gundy assistant Doug Meacham to lead offense
According to multiple reports, Oklahoma State is poised to hire TCU inside receivers coach Doug Meacham as the new offensive coordinator. Meacham was an offensive lineman for the Cowboys from 1983-87, and he returned to coach tight ends in Stillwater under Gundy from 2005-12. He also added the role of passing game coordinator during 2008.

Doug Meacham, a former Oklahoma State offensive lineman, is set to return to his alma mater. A coordinator of offenses at Houston, Kansas and, most recently, TCU, Meacham is returning to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to run the offensive show for Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy, several sources confirmed to FootballScoop Thursday afternoon.

Oklahoma State is set to hire Doug Meacham, a former Cowboys player and assistant with previous Big 12 coordinator experience, as its new offensive coordinator, sources told ESPN. Meacham, 59, has been coaching TCU's inside receivers for the past three years and helped the team to the national title game in 2022.
