AMD announced its new RDNA 4 GPU architecture along with the Radeon RX 9000-series branding, with the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 arriving in the next couple of months.

AMD is previewing its next generation of GPUs at CES today, based on its latest RDNA 4 architecture that includes AI-powered FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) upscaling. The Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 will both be available in Q1 from a variety of video card manufacturers,

The RX 9070 should roughly achieve the performance of the previous Radeon RX 7800 XT. AMD also mentioned an upcoming RX 9060 series, but did not provide any further details. The 8000 designations are reserved for the integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics units in Ryzen processors.
