Microsoft's controversial Recall is back — but only if you're a Windows Insider
Today, Microsoft announced that Recall is coming off the bench — but there are some caveats. You need to be a Windows Insider on the Dev Channel and own a Copilot+ PC powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite or Snapdragon X Plus chipset in order to access the preview of Recall.

Hands down, the biggest announcement from this week is the return of Recall. Microsoft finally opened the gates to its controversial AI feature, allowing Windows Insiders to test Recall on eligible hardware. Just keep in mind that the initial version has some limitations, including Recall ignoring filtered-out websites in certain scenarios.

The feature comes with previously announced privacy-related changes, but for now, Recall is only available in a preview Windows 11 build for Qualcomm-powered Copilot+ PCs.
How To Preview Microsoft’s Controversial Windows Recall On Copilot+ PCs
Choose the Dev Channel and reboot. After rebooting and signing back into the Copilot+ PC, go to Settings > Windows Update, check for updates and Build 26120.2415 should be offered. The PC will download the update and then reboot to finish the update process.
