Two people in Adams County infected with West Nile Virus
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) -Two people in Colorado have contracted West Nile Virus. The cases are out of Adams County. The Adams County Health Department says the people got the virus late in June. The virus is transmitted through mosquito bites. According to officials, most people who get the virus don’t show symptoms.
