The Denver Broncos (2-2) are set to go on the road to face the Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, Oct. 5. Kickoff for the AFC vs.
Denver's upset victory ended Philly's 10-game winning streak. The Eagles had won 20 of their last 21 games and 12 straight games at home before being upset by the Broncos. Denver had also lost its last three games in Philly dating back to 1986.
Buffalo is the NFL's only unbeaten team after the Eagles (4-1) blew a late 14-point lead and struggled offensively again in the second half, falling 21-17 at Lincoln Financial Field.
In a blink, the Broncos erased a 14-point fourth-quarter lead. Then they held on for a 21-17 win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles, who came in undefeated and winners of 20 of their last 21 games.
This was a break-through victory that showed Sean Payton’s blueprint for success can work and Denver can play with the NFL’s best.
