At first glance, "The Recruit" may look like your standard espionage drama, but beneath its splashy action scenes and quippy one-liners that's not the case. That's as true in Season 2 as it was in Season 1.

Season 2, premiering Jan. 30, follows Hendricks as he takes on a high-stakes espionage mission in South Korea, only to discover that the greatest threat may come from within the CIA itself, according to a synopsis. The new season also introduces Teo Yoo as newcomer Jang Kyun.

If The Recruit were to be renewed for a third season, it is quite likely that the next episodes would drop in 2026. The comedy-drama incurred a delay to its second entry after the Screen Actors Guild and Writers Guild of America strikes of 2023 brought Hollywood to a standstill.
