The former pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church has permanently dropped a lawsuit he filed in June against the church and seven church leaders.

A grant to help churches better minister to LGBTQ+ people prompted fury. A decision to return the grant then spurred disappointment.

Calvary Chapel Waco Pastor Albert Fuentes served 300 mostly barbeque meals out of a mobile kitchen last week in Kerrville.

The class will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 29 at the McLennan County Extension office, 4224 Cobbs Drive.
